Traffic Soars As Support Grows

June 13, 2002 -- Average monthly traffic to Lab Tests Online rose 65% in the first five months of the year, from an average of 42,000 in 2001 to 70,000. Traffic for the second quarter is on pace to average slightly more than 80,000 users per month.

Strong media coverage has continued to drive traffic as AARP's My Generation magazine, and Real Simple and Vitality magazines included mentions of the site. NBC News featured the site in a segment that is available online here.

New corporate sponsors have reflected growing industry support for the site. New sponsors added this year include Adeza Biomedical, Athena Diagnostics, CanAg Diagnostics, Cholestech Corporation, DPC, DSL, Fujirebio Diagnostics, Genzyme, Hycor Biomedical, International Technidyne Corporation, MDS, Nanogen, Pharmacia Diagnostics, Scantibodies Laboratories, and Sysmex.
